6.21 子曰：“中人以上，可以语上也；中人以下，不可以语上也。”

孔子说：“中等才智以上的人，可以对他说高深的道理；中等才智以下的人，不可对他说高深的道理。”

孔子说：“中等资质以上的人，可以对他说高深理论；中等资质以下的人，不可对他说高深的理论。”
【English Translation】
Confucius said: “We can talk about profound theories to the people with above-average qualifications. But for those with below-average qualifications, we should not talk to them about profound theories.”
