15.15 子曰：“躬自厚而薄责于人，则远怨矣。”

孔子说：“责备自己严而责备别人宽，那就远离怨恨了。”

孔子说：“严于律己，自己有修身改过的机会，宽以待人，别人就愿意听从你，这样就可以远离怨恨了。”
【English Translation】
Confucius said: “If a person is strict with himself, he will have the opportunity to cultivate his virtue and correct his mistakes. If a person is lenient with others, then others will be willing to listen to him. In this way, he can stay away from resentment.”
