子罕篇 9.26

9.26　子曰：“三军可夺帅也，匹夫不可夺志也¹。”

【译文】

孔子说：“军队可被夺去主帅，一个男子却不可被夺走志向。”

孔子说：“众多兵马可被夺去主帅，一个平民男子若志向坚定，则谁也不能动摇其志向。”

Confucius said: “A chief commander of the military can be taken away, but if a common person is resolute in his aspiration, no one can shake his aspiration.”
