子路问怎样治理政事。孔子说：“自己做在百姓之前，然后使百姓努力劳作。”子路请求再多讲一些。孔子说：“永远不要倦怠。”

Zi Lu asked Confucius how to govern political affairs. Confucius said: “Stand in front of the civilians and defy all difficulties and dangers for them.” Zi Lu asked to elaborate more. Confucius said: “Never be weary.”
