8.12 子曰：“三年学，不至于谷1，不易得也。”

孔子说：“读书三年，还没有产生做官的心念，这是很难得的。”

Confucius said: “It is rare that a person who have studied for three years does not have the thoughts of seeking an official position and salary.”
