13.22 子曰：“南人有言曰：‘人而无恒，不可以作巫医1。’善夫！” “不恒其德，或承之羞2。” 子曰：“不占而已矣。”
【译文】
孔子说：“南方人有句话说：‘人没有恒心，不可以做巫医。’这话说得对呀！” 《易经》中说：“不能恒定地坚守德操，就会招致耻辱。” 孔子说：“这是叫那些没有恒心的人不必再占卦罢了。”

Confucius said: “There is a saying in the south: ‘Because people do not have perseverance, the treatment of witch doctors is also of no avail.’ This is really true!”
