6.13 子谓子夏曰：“女为君子儒，无为小人儒！”

孔子对子夏说：“你要做君子式的儒者，不要做小人式的儒者！”

孔子对子夏说：“你要做君子那样（通达且有大志）的儒者，不要做小人那样（拘谨狭隘）的儒者！”
【English Translation】
Confucius said to Zi Xia[①] :“You should be a Confucian like a noble person who is sensible, perceptive and has great aspirations, rather than a Confucian like a mean person who is reserved and narrow-minded.”
