15.18 子曰：“君子义以为质，礼以行之，孙以出之，信以成之。君子哉！”

孔子说：“君子把道义作为行事的根本，依据礼节来实行它，用谦逊的言辞来表达它，用诚信的态度来完成它。这才真是君子啊！”

Confucius said: “A noble person takes virtue as the foundation of his actions, puts it into practice in a manner that conforms to the Rites, expresses it in words with a humble attitude, and accomplishes it with sincere attitude. This is truly a noble person!”
