9.9　子曰：“凤鸟不至¹，河不出图²，吾已矣夫³！”

【译文】

孔子说：“凤凰不飞来了，黄河不出图了，我的一生没有希望了吧！”

Confucius said: “The phoenix no longer flies over here, the dragon either no longer leaps out of Yellow River with a picture¹. There is no hope for my life.”
