13.14 冉子退朝1。子曰：“何晏也2？”对曰：“有政。”子曰：“其事也。如有政，虽不吾以3，吾其与闻之4。”

冉有退朝回来。孔子说：“今天怎么回来那么晚？”冉有答道：“有政事。”孔子说：“怕是季氏家事吧。如有政事，虽然不用我了，但我还是能知道的。”

Ran You returned from a private court in Ji Family. Confucius said: “Why did you come back so late today?” Ran You replied: “There were political affairs to discuss.” Confucius said: “It must be the private affairs of Ji family.
