8.11 子曰：“如有周公之才之美，使骄且吝，其余不足观也已。”

孔子说：“如果一个人有周公那样优秀的才能，但他骄傲而且吝啬，那其他方面也就不值得一看了。”

【English Translation】
Confucius said: “If a person has the excellent talents like Duke of Zhou, but he is proud and unwilling to do his utmost in his work, then other aspects of this person are not worth looking at.”
