19.11 子夏曰：“大德不逾闲1，小德出入可也。”

子夏说：“大的德行不可逾越界限，小的德行有些出入是可以的。”

Zi Xia1 said: “If a person does not deviate from the righteous Way in the great virtue, then we should not overly criticize him when he has some deviations in minor details.”
