17.22 子曰：“饱食终日，无所用心，难矣哉！不有博弈者乎1？为之，犹贤乎已2。”

孔子说：“整日吃饱了饭，无处用心，难有出息呀！不是有棋类游戏吗？即使做这样的游戏，也比什么都不做好些。”

【English Translation】
Confucius said: “If one fills himself with food all day long without thinking, it will be very difficult to teach him! Why not play chess games? Even playing such games is better than doing nothing at all.”
