7.27　子钓而不纲¹，弋不射宿²。

【译文】

孔子钓鱼，不用大绳系住网钩截流取鱼；孔子射鸟，不射在巢中栖息的鸟。

孔子钓鱼，不用网捕鱼；孔子射鸟，不射在巢中栖息的鸟。

【English Translation】

When Confucius fished, he did not use a net. When he shot at birds, he did not shoot the birds which were perching in their nests.
