14.29 子贡方人1。子曰：“赐也贤乎哉？夫我则不暇。”

子贡讥评别人。孔子说：“赐啊，你就那么好了吗？我就没有这样的闲工夫。”

子贡时常品评议论别人。孔子说：“赐啊，你就那么贤良了吗？我就没有这样的时间论别人的短长。”
【English Translation】
Zi Gong often judged and commented on others. Confucius said: “Ci (Zi Gong), are you already so virtuous? I don’t have such time to discuss others.”
