13.26　子曰：“君子泰而不骄¹，小人骄而不泰。”

【译文】

孔子说：“君子舒泰而不骄傲，小人骄傲而不舒泰。”

孔子说：“君子安宁舒泰而不骄傲放纵，小人骄傲放纵而不安宁舒泰。”

Confucius said: “A noble person is calm and at ease without being arrogant and unrestrained, while a mean person is arrogant and unrestrained without being calm and at ease.”
