9.30 子曰：“可与共学，未可与适道1；可与适道，未可与立；可与立，未可与权2。”
【译文】
孔子说：“可共同学习的人，未必可共同走向道；可共同走向道的人，未必可共同依道立身；可共同依道立身的人，未必可共同通权达变。”

孔子说：“可共同学习的人，未必可以一起志于君子之道；可共同志于君子之道的人，未必可以共同坚守此道；可共同坚守此道的人，未必可共同通权达变。”
【English Translation】
Confucius said: “The persons who can study together may not be able to pursue the way of the noble person together. The persons who can pursue the way of the noble person together may not be able to stick to this way together. The persons who can stick to this way together may not be able to adapt themselves to changing circumstances together.”
