9.13 子贡曰：“有美玉于斯，韫椟而藏诸1？求善贾而沽诸2？”子曰：“沽之哉！沽之哉！我待贾者也。”
【译文】
子贡说：“如果有一块美玉在这里，是放在匣中藏起来呢？还是找一个识货的商人卖掉呢？”孔子说：“卖掉它啊！卖掉它啊！我等待着识货的人呢。”

【English Translation】
Zi Gong said: “If there is a piece of beautiful jade here, should it be kept in a box and hidden, or be sold to a merchant who knows its value?” Confucius said: “Sell it! Sell it! I’m waiting for someone who knows its value.”
