11.19 子曰：“回也其庶乎1，屡空。赐不受命2，而货殖焉3，亿则屡中4。”
【译文】
孔子说：“颜回的道德学问差不多了吧，可是常常极度贫困。端木赐未受官方之命而私自经商牟利，他对市场行情的猜度却常常准确。”

孔子说：“颜回的道德学问差不多是圣人了吧，虽极度贫困而乐在其中矣。端木赐不好好受教育而擅长经商，他对市场行情的猜度常常准确。”
【English Translation】
Confucius said: “Yan Hui’s virtue and learning are almost that of a sage. Although he is extremely poor, he still takes pleasure in it. Duan Mu Ci was not good at learning but good at doing business, and his predictions about market situation were often accurate.”
