君主召孔子去接待宾客，孔子的脸色便庄重起来，行走时步履疾速。他向同立于身边的人作揖，或向左或向右地拱手，衣服前后摆动，显得整齐不乱。快步向前走的时候，如鸟舒展翅膀一样。宾客辞别后，孔子必定向君主禀报说：“客人已经走远了。”

【English Translation】
When the monarch summoned Confucius to receive the guests, his countenance became solemn, and he walked quickly. He bowed to those standing beside him, arched his hands either to the left or right, and his clothes swung back and forth without any disorder. When he accelerated his pace, it was as natural as a bird spreading its wings. After the guests had left, Confucius would definitely report to the monarch: “The guests have gone far away.”
